All the candidates interested in taking admission need to have passed the post graduate degree examination of the JNAFAU, Hyderabad, or an examination recognised as equivalent by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in the discipline concerned with not less than 55 per cent in aggregate.

However, candidates from the SC/ST category need to secure 50 per cent in the concerned subject.

The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of PhD Eligibility Entrance Test (PEET) and interview conducted by the university.

Candidates who have cleared the UGC-CSIR/NET/GATE examination are exempted from the written test and will directly be admitted on the basis of an interview.

All the candidates need to pay Rs 1000 for each application form, whereas ST/ST candidates are required to pay Rs 55 only.
